Our Patagonia yoga retreats aren’t just luxurious getaways. We put a modern twist on the traditional yoga retreat and offer adventurous and luxurious experiences with a zen, mind-body approach. You’ll love getting to explore the luxuries and experience the best adventures Patagonia has to offer with us at Drishti Journeys.

Have we peaked your interest yet about what to expect from joining us for a Patagonia luxury tour?

Patagonia has mountains with altitudes that are perfect to clear your mind, and adventures around every corner. Add a flair of luxury experience and you’ve got the international getaway of a lifetime!

What really makes Patagonia so special is that it's still wild! Pristine and unspoiled nature calls us to connect more deeply with ourselves and with mother earth. On a luxury Patagonia tour it is completely possible to spot penguins or pumas, relax in thermal baths, or even horseback ride through glacial valleys. Patagonia is also one of the world’s best locations for fly fishing!

We’re proud to offer these luxurious and adventurous experiences to our guests, along with daily yoga practice to relax and unwind.

Here are four more of our favorite luxury Patagonia tour activities we know you’ll love!

Not all Patagonia luxury tours are created equal. Due to the wide expanse of Patagonia, not all luxury tours offer nearly as much diversity and variety as we do at Drishti Journeys.

Here’s a list featuring some more of the adventures and experiences you can experience with us at our luxurious tour and yoga retreat in Patagonia:

  • Glacial Boat Ride: Patagonia is world renowned for its glaciers, many of which are only accessible through water, by boat. The Northern and Southern ice caps of Patagonia feed hundreds of glaciers that then feed into the Chilean fjords. Our boat trip will allow us to break away from the crowds, and get close to these incredible bodies of ice.

  • Torres Del Paine National Park: Named the 8th wonder of the world, Torres Del Paine is a place in which you can feel completely insignificant in comparison to the vast grandeur of nature. Sunrise at this UNESCO biosphere reserve is a spectacular display of red and purple light reflecting off the 3 towers of granite around which the park was formed. We’re proud to include a full day of exploration and immersion for our guests, with terrific wildlife watching and glaciers, and of course, excellent food.

  • Simple Patagonia Bespoke Hotel & Restaurant: The accommodations for our Patagonia luxury tour and yoga retreat are marvelously located and impeccably kept. With only 11 private suites in the whole establishment, and the owners of the property available to ensure top notch quality, we keep coming back to Simple Patagonia Boutique Hotel again and again.  Its an eco-friendly lodge with a simple and vast design to ensure you can experience the best of Patagonia and truly clear your mind. Finally, the hotel’s restaurant serves up delicious, traditionally inspired Chilean food with elevated ingredients. We’re so thrilled for you to experience it for yourself.

  • Estancias: In simple terms, estancias are self-sufficient cattle ranches with deep guancho traditions that were established over a century ago. It’s essentially a Patagonian twist on the classic American dude ranch! And we’re thrilled to work with a beautiful estancia for a unique cultural experience, as well as glacial horseback riding tours.

And since every luxury tour must have epicurean delights, let’s talk about some of the amazing food you will try in Patagonia:

Cordero Patagonico de palo: While Patagonia itself isn’t a country, we promise that if it were, Corder Patagonico would be the national dish. It’s a spit roast lamb dish, which is cooked over open flames all day outdoors. With crackling, crispy skin and meat that falls off the bone, Patagonia has arguably the best lamb in the world! You will also find hot empanadas stuffed with this delectable lamb roast, for a quick mid-day snack.

Chupe de Centolla: After a long day exploring the outdoors, nothing will beat coming home to your hotel and eating a hot bowl of Chupe de Centolla. The easiest way to describe it is to just imagine a piping hot bowl of crab chowder topped with breadcrumbs, cheese, and then roasted till its bubbly on top. But there’s much more crab than in your average soup. You’ll love it.

Hongos del Bosque: Finally, Patagonia is known for its forest mushrooms. They’re often dried and then used in sauces, though there are also many side dishes featuring these scrumptious and earthy mushies.

Trust us, a luxury Patagonia tour and yoga retreat is the best way to experience everything Patagonia has to offer!

At Drishti Journeys we love offering the best experience possible to each of our retreat guests. If you’re ready to experience all the beauty and luxury Patagonia has to offer, book one of our luxury Patagonia retreats! We know you won’t regret it.
